The Wisdom of Innocence
The teaching of Sahaja Yoga in schools was mainly intended to create, from the earliest school years, the good habit of putting one's attention on one's self and the needs of others. This happens naturally, once one discovers the fundamental similarity of the underlying mechanisms of everyone, that is, the subtle connection that binds individuals together. The proposed techniques enable one to enhance qualities and skills such as listening skills and attention, a sense of security and self-confidence, and an understanding of self and others. This helps improve communication and pupil relationships with peers, teachers, and family members as well as can facilitate the expression of individual potential and the harmonious development of the personality.
