The Wisdom of Innocence

The teaching of Sahaja Yoga in schools was mainly intended to create, from the earliest school years, the good habit of putting one's attention on one's self and the needs of others. This happens naturally, once one discovers the fundamental similarity of the underlying mechanisms of everyone, that is, the subtle connection that binds individuals together. The proposed techniques enable one to enhance qualities and skills such as listening skills and attention, a sense of security and self-confidence, and an understanding of self and others. This helps improve communication and pupil relationships with peers, teachers, and family members as well as can facilitate the expression of individual potential and the harmonious development of the personality.

Building a better society

"NGO"s created by Shri Mataji

Knowing that “actions speak louder than words,” with Her great concern for humanity, Shri Mataji founded many succesful NGOs (Non Governmental Organisations) in the last 25 years. To mention just a few: An International hospital in Mumbai to help patients all over the world cure themselves through Sahaja Yoga techniques. An International cancer research centre in Mumbai in order to study the effects of Sahaja Yoga on curing psychosomatic diseases. An International music school in Nagpur to promote classical arts including music, dance and painting. A home for destitute women in Delhi, providing a caring, nurturing environment where underprivileged girls and women can learn the skills needed to support themselves.

Our Desire is to dedicate an official Day to the importance of Inner balance and peaceful coexistence.
